HUBYtual: Antoine Huby Flattens Baguio Mountain

French climber Antoine Huby of 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines Team delivered a masterclass performance in the grueling final stage of the MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026, conquering the legendary Baguio ascent with a dominant solo attack to capture the Stage 14 victory.

Nikita Shulchenko of LCW UAE Cycle Team crossed the finish line in second place after another composed and tactical ride, while Ronnilan Quita of 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines Team proudly raised the Filipino flag with a strong third-place finish in the final stage.

Despite Huby’s mountain dominance, Shulchenko successfully retained the Yellow Jersey. Huby’s exceptional final-stage performance also enabled him to capture the green jersey for the Sprint Classification.

Meanwhile, defending champion Joo Dae Yeong of Gapyeong Cycling Team earned the Most Combative Rider honors and wore the red jersey. Yousef Ibrahiem Alrefai of LCW UAE Cycle Team maintained control of the White Jersey and officially secured the Best Young Rider Classification.

As the riders crossed the final finish line in Baguio, the mountains ultimately delivered their long-awaited verdict and crowned a new set of kings in the MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026.
